The following formulas are useful for planning a landscaping project:
Mulch, top soil, and stone cubic yard quantity is calculated by multiplying the area in square feet by the number of inches deep, dividing by 12, and dividing by 27
Area of a circle equals it’s radius, multiplied by it’s radius, multiplied by 3.14
Edging length around a circle, or it’s circumference, is calculated by multiplying it’s diameter by 3.14
